ABSTRACT
The first edition of this book was given the title ' IVF Children: the First
Generation'. This reflected on the fact that the oldest child who had been
conceived by in vitro fertilization (IVF) was only 22 years old at the time
of writing. A significant number of children whose parents had the benefit
of them being conceived with the help of IVF are now in the teenage-early
adult age range.
