ABSTRACT
Nebulizers are useful devices for delivering inhaled medications to children. In contrast to many other inhalation drug delivery devices, much less patient cooperation is required – a resource that is often in short supply with younger patients! Furthermore, almost any drug can be delivered by nebulization, and nebulized therapy provides a potential portal of entry for systemic drug treatment as well as for the direct treatment of respiratory diseases.
