ABSTRACT
The freeze drying process is controlled on three parameters: time, tem perature, and pressure. The ancillary valve switching functions within the cycle are also performed, as a general rule, by the freeze dryer con trol system. The control system will also perform other tasks associ ated with the freeze dryer; these functions are as diverse as the control of sterilisation to the production of batch records.
