ABSTRACT
Four areas are discussed in this final chapter. The first is GIS for disaster management special topics, which is presented to give you a sense of the breadth, variety, and potential of GIS for disaster management research and development activities. The special topics are by no means an exhaustive list. You are encouraged to use these special topics as a starting point to “think outside the box” as to what is possible with GIS for disaster management.
