ABSTRACT
Cytotoxins are poisons that destroy cells or impair cellular activities. All cytotoxins do not operate through the same mechanism of action nor do they produce the same symptoms. The clinical symptoms from poisoning by any individual toxin can vary widely with route of exposure and dose.
