ABSTRACT

Fatty liver is one of the most important causes responsible for liver cirrhosis and liver damage in developed as well as developing countries. Fatty liver is the result of the accumulation of various types of lipids (Postic and Girard, 2008), but mostly there is inltration of triglycerides (TGs) into the liver cells more than 5% of its total weight. Traditionally, fatty liver has been considered a benign and reversible condition, and it usually causes the expression of a nonspecic response of the liver to metabolic stress of different origin (Day and Yeaman, 1994; Teli et al., 1995).
