ABSTRACT
As a new kind of plasma metamaterial to control the electromagnetic wave propagation, plasma photonic crystal (PPC) has drawn increasing attention. It is a highly interdisciplinary subject, which bridges materials science, plasma physics, and optical control. In this entry, we will provide an overview of the tunable PPCs and discuss the different experimental methods and theoretical analysis methods involved.
