ABSTRACT
Most community housing and neighborhood integrity elements include an inventory and analysis of existing and projected housing needs. Communities often pursue policies for residents to maintain the standard of housing. An administrator should reviews the composition of the city's housing and analyzes the amount of diversity in the city's housing inventory. A community's supply of developable land is very important and if the land supply is diminishing, then the community must address the situation. Many communities work hard at creating and maintaining neighborhoods with a strong sense of pride. Maintaining and enhancing the quality of all neighborhoods is an important part of any city's livability. Cities have employed creative and innovative uses on commercial and mixed-use land to increase the housing supply. Mid-rise and high-rise residential and mixed-use buildings provide housing for people chose to live in urban neighborhoods such as in the downtown area that have high concentrations of jobs and services and a variety of transportation options.
