ABSTRACT
Detective Charles Gilmore’s Story Donny and I had been on a roll for the past couple of years. We had just won the Metropolitan Narcotics Detective of the Year award based on the sheer number of felony arrests and convictions under our belts. It seemed like every night we were hitting drug houses with search warrants. We were hard chargers, but our success was mostly due to great informants. And without a doubt, Ogre was our best.
