ABSTRACT

One of the major drawbacks of multicarrier systems is their vulnerability to nonlinear distortion effects, which come from the fact that most of the components of the transmitter and receiver do not show perfectly linear behaviours. These include the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)/ Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT) pair, the high-power amplifier and the digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters, among others.
