ABSTRACT

Given the volume of issues, the complexity of these issues, the limited time and resources, and many other factors, safety and health professionals may need to “go back to basics” when starting a new program or retooling an existing program. If in doubt, go back to the foundation. The “tried-and-true” elements of a safety and health program have worked successfully for over 45 years and will continue to work in creating and maintaining safe and healthful work environments for companies and employees.
