ABSTRACT
The international scientific community is currently emphasizing the importance of adopting multifactorial approaches and strategies for the prevention of musculoskeletal damage due to exposure to manual patient-handling risk; such approaches are based on ergonomic principles (both top-down and bottom-up, and especially on the engagement of all the various parties involved).
