ABSTRACT

Every project has implementation constraints. The constraints may concern the timing (the entire project must be completed by September 30, 2013; phase 1 of the project should be completed by March 30, 2013), costs ($250,000 has been allocated for the entire project), resources (only four full-time people have been assigned to the project), regulations/laws (the project must be carried out in compliance with current safety regulations), working methods (the project excludes the use of a specific technology), or the organizational environment (it is essential for the project to use the results produced by another project as its starting point).
