ABSTRACT

Another force in nature also possesses kinetic energy, without being subject to the problems associated with water as an energy source-wind. Wind is a mass of air in motion. All of us occasionally experience the force of the wind in various waysscattering papers that we’ve dropped, blowing a hat off, turning an umbrella inside out, or even making difculty in walking into a strong wind. These experiences are no different than some of the ways in which we can personally experience the force of moving water. And, just as moving water can be harnessed to do practical work for us in many ways, we can also harness the wind.
