Bring your own device (BYOD) implies mobile computing and those on the run often use the cloud to store and access both personal and organizational documents. From a health record perspective, it is likely that a vendor-based, Internet-based electronic health record (EHR) hosting system will be used, with its own set of issues, as shown in Table 6.1.
