ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes some basic concepts related to structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The focus is primarily on T1-weighted structural MRI, and covers image acquisition, processing, extraction of morphometric measures, and statistical analyses for multi-subject cross-sectional studies.
