One of the most important factors for water hammer solution is formed by predicted the air entrance or, rate and location of air penetrated into the water pipeline. Water hammer can be recognized during irregular operations. Under abnormal operations (during an earthquake) at power turning on and off, water hammer will attack to the system. The equipment, which can help during an emergency outage, includes surge tank, switching tanks, boilers, valves, pressure vessel for the pulse pressure damping, and pressure relief valves.
