ABSTRACT
When examining bodily uids, a presumptive and a conrmatory test can be used to test the sample that is in question. A presumptive test provides a quick and easy examination, either at the scene or in the laboratory, to show the possibility of a particular substance. A conrmatory test provides a denitive result for the substance that is in question.
