ABSTRACT
Glass breakage can occur during various types of crimes. Burglary, breaking and entering, assaults, and hit-and-run car-pedestrian accidents are common crimes where glass evidence can furnish important clues in the investigation. Therefore, investigators need to be able to distinguish between tempered, window, and household glass.
