ABSTRACT

I have touched on a number of key themes in this book that relate to human resources (HR), information technology (IT), and data management. In a traditional conclusion, I would simply review the topics that I have covered in this book. However, in this instance, I do not think that the narrative would be complete without a discussion of the key technology-based trends that will help to shape not only healthcare HR and IT strategies but, indeed, the entire health services universe in the years and even decades to come.
