ABSTRACT
The mechanical press brake was the pioneer in the press brake forming market over 100 years ago; many are in existence today. However, the forming methods and practices have changed in the last 20 years. These changes have altered the mechanical press brakes sales, as well as their perceived advantages to the basic job shop or manufacturer.
