ABSTRACT
This appendix gives brief reference notes on two important packages, called MINITAB and GLIM. Full details may be found in the appropriate reference manuals. Note that both packages will be updated in due course, in which case some commands may change. Of course many other packages could have been included, but the author has concentrated on two packages he is familiar with.
