ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Between the mid-nineteen fifties, and the start of the nineteen seventies, a series of reinforced concrete structures were constructed in Bogotá. These structures became milestones of Colombian architecture. The edifications characterized certain architectural ideas of the time, and therefore are a clear representation of a period of the country’s history. This representation is one of great innovations and developments in techniques and constructive processes, only made possible thanks to the joint work of architects and engineers.
