ABSTRACT

Agricultural residues has been for a long time only directed towards the conventional cattle fodder usages, or beddings. It has even been burnt in huge amounts, especially straws, due to its huge amounts that overflow such conventional usages. One of the most promising applications of such agri-fibers is the biocomposites, and their applications in many industrial applications including building industry. Such an issue has been recently highly tackled in many researches, but this research area is still dominated with other natural fibers' types that aren’t released from the agricultural residues, but are planted especially for the fiber's usage and not for the feedstock purposes as in our case, including industrial hemp, jute, sisal, kenaf and ramie fibers.
