ABSTRACT
Recently, we have reporte d on the expe rimental validation of an edge strength m odel for glass with polished and cut edge finishing (Vandebroek et al, 2012). Com pared to literature (Haldimann, 2006; Haldimannet al, 2 008), the stress corrosion param eters at laboratory conditions were found to be slightly different. Neither in the study of Haldimann (Haldimann, 2006), nor in our st udy (Vandebroek et al, 2012), the envir onmental conditions, i.e. t emperature and humidity, were monitored or mentioned.
