ABSTRACT
1 INTRODUCTION Planar reciprocal assemblies are two dimensional structures formed by mutually supported elements joined together in intermediate points along their spans. In recent times, besides the geometry and the structural behaviour, an increased interest has been given towards the kinematic behaviour of reciprocal assemblies, for the analysis and discovery of novel mechanisms based on the principle of reciprocity.
