ABSTRACT
ADME is the abbreviation used in pharmacology to describe the processes of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of substances introduced into an organism. The four steps inuence the movement and concentration of a xenobiotic (exogenous) substance in the organism, and therefore the pharmacological effects. ADME can also be used to describe and determine the fate of a substance from the moment of entering the body until its complete elimination.
