ABSTRACT
A medical article may be either the expression of views about some topic of interest or the fruit of research. Medical articles are often something other than reports on the results of scientific endeavor. In medical journals, editorials, personal opinions, book reviews, and personal views that are not always based on an author’s personal research are, nonetheless, an integral part of written medical communication.
