ABSTRACT
Since the birth of the science of electrochemistry in the late 18th century, credited to Professors Luigi Galvani and Alessandro Volta at the University of Bologna and Pavia University, respectively [1], the lead-acid battery has been the mainstay of electrical power source for most commercial usage. This was true for both stationery and mobile applications.
