ABSTRACT
Climate plays an important role in disease vectors and in the replication and transmission of vector-borne diseases. It also circumscribes the distribution of diseases and has an impact on the timing and intensity of outbreaks (Wayne and Graham, 1968; Hopp and Foley, 2001).
