ABSTRACT
To borrow from Thomas Sowell’s insight above, the process mind knows that long-term sustainable growth is only available through process and, yet, it recognizes that this growth is regularly trumped by daily, firefighting realities driven by a short-term view that manifests itself in the dictum, “make the month.” It seems that all the elements of the process mind are valid until the functional organization intervenes.
