ABSTRACT
Water, the main source of life, is required for the continuation of both ecosystems and humankind. Today, water is used in many dierent areas. Water is used mainly for irrigation in agricultural activities, for processes such as heating and cooling systems in industry, and for cleaning, washing, and drinking in households. However, factors such as increasing population, water pollution, urban development, agricultural irrigation, climate change, and drought directly aect the availability of water resources for increasing demand. erefore, ensuring
water security against this increasing demand has become a very important issue [18].
