ABSTRACT
Water is the backbone of the global economy, being vital for agriculture, industry, recreation, energy production, and domestic consumption [29]. Since water demands and water shortage concerns have increased with population growth and climate change, seawater desalination has become an important alternative source to produce high-quality potable water.
