ABSTRACT
The first section of this book dealt with basic physics principles of nuclear radiation properties and their interactions with matter. Now we embark on some details of ways and means to produce, detect and quantify radiations. This is essential if we have goals for health, industry or scientific purposes or we need to assess the impact of species and quantities of radiation on the surroundings they interact with. The surroundings may be inanimate matter or live organisms.
