ABSTRACT
Flexibility of the many force and motion functions is an essential ingredient to accomplish the tasks performed by a tractor equipped with a backhoe and front end loader. Many different configurations are available for specific end use tasks that dictate machine size and capabilities. With the tools in a stowed position the machine moves quickly and easily from job to job (Figure 22.1).
