ABSTRACT
The principles of multistage separation were applied in Chapters 5 and 6 mainly to binary mixtures. The objective was to formulate the theories and methods of solution and performance prediction for an idealized system. This model was used to study the effect of different parameters on the outcome of a separation process and also to quantitatively solve certain binary problems.
