ABSTRACT

The authors have synthesized a coordination compound, which has the properties of corrosion inhibitor and studied its structure by the X-ray scattering method, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The compound obtained has a chelate structure, which is stable during storing and provides high degree of steel protection against corrosion in neutral aqueous media. The crystal lattice belongs to triclinic system, the spatial group is 1P , Z=2, a = 11.2208(2) Å, B = 11.2666(3) Å, c = 12.3286(3) Å, α = 108.455(2)°, b = 97.168(2)°, g = 117.103(2)°. The complex is chelate; the internal coordination sphere includes three five-membered cycles N-C-P-O-Zn with the common bond Zn-N. Zinc is coordinated in the distorted trigonal-bipyramidal configuration, which includes an oxygen atom of the neighboring molecule of the complex.
