ABSTRACT
As mentioned in the introductory chapter, the development of
biotechnology requires large industrial-scale liquid chromatog-
raphy (LC), also called process LC, for finely purifying a large
amount of bioproducts. The large preparative-scale LC is also
useful for laboratory researchers who wish to obtain a substance
of interest that is present in very low concentrations in raw
materials.
