ABSTRACT
Proteomics is a research field which aims to describe the global expression profiles of proteins, and their location and interactions, seeking to make out the functionality of cells. Research in proteomics initiated in the postgenomic “era” when scientific community deepenend the studies to understand the functional role of genome sequences.
