ABSTRACT
This chapter is more about what you can do with these tools than it is about covering them from A to Z. In most cases, we will provide a list of tools available at the time of this writing. The wave of big data analysis is just beginning (really!); hence, many of the tools require some technical knowledge in order to use them. For example, the archetype of big data tools for statistics is the statistical language R, which is primarily command-line driven. Figure 5.1 shows a plethora of tools.
