Cogito ergo sum. (I think, therefore I am.)

Father of analytic geometry
The first two chapters of this text develop the fundamental concepts and theorems of Euclidean plane geometry we need in our development of transformational plane geometry. We intentionally omit many important theorems of Euclidean plane geometry – including the famous Pythagorean Theorem – and our exposition freely applies many well-known fundamental facts from other branches of mathematics.
