ABSTRACT
In early 1998, I have to travel to China to visit one of our hiking shoe suppliers. This type of item requires a large amount of labor; no major North American factory is able to produce them at a competitive rate. Nike®, Reebok®, and Adidas® brand shoes are all manufactured in the Far East, mainly in China.
