ABSTRACT
The core chapters of this book provided detailed information on the concepts, principles and implementation of Lean in the healthcare environment. The primary goal behind these chapters is to eliminate the excuses that often surround implementing Lean such as “we are unique”, “it won’t work in my department” or “clinical practice is unpredictable”.
