ABSTRACT
Different techniques of computational intelligence (CI) and their applications in the field of materials design were discussed in Chapters 4 through 8. Those chapters dealt with issues related to different aspects of materials design and how to approach them with available CI techniques. But certain points, which are not directly related to CI-based materials design but need special mention, are discussed in this chapter.
