ABSTRACT

The decision of the plan for what to design was first brought about from the business process, as was discussed in Chapter 4. Sometimes it is the decision for the improvement of the latest version of the product and other times it is the decision to develop something new. In both cases, the business decision is usually made by the information obtained from market research. Especially when there is an innovative product or service that just appeared on the market from a competing company, the business decision frequently tends to put emphasis on the speed of development rather than the fundamental consideration of the usefulness of the artifact and the degree of user satisfaction.
