ABSTRACT
In this chapter we present a variety of examples that are more interesting and somewhat more challenging than the motivating examples given in Chapters 1 and 2. All the examples have been solved using the finite element package COMSOL Multiphysics [65], although we note that the numerical solution could have been found by using any alternative PDE package solver. Our choice of using COMSOL is motivated by its flexibility for solving coupled multiphysics problems.
