ABSTRACT

This chapter is organized to facilitate easy searching of key points by summarizing and differentiating the syntax between similar SAS statements and options. Examples of SAS program and code statements are line numbered with references for more detailed explanation. Note that SAS examples are a complete block of code that can be executed, while selected SAS code syntax needs to be executed as part of the remaining program. This unique approach empowers both the advanced programmer who needs a quick refresher, as well as programmers interested in learning new programming techniques.
