ABSTRACT
Transition from anesthesia to recovery can be as unstable and unpredictable as the induction period. Total reversibility is the goal following any procedure even though anesthetics impose many physical and physiological changes. Throughout this text, there is information provided about recovery including specifics about individual drug groups, special breeds and unique needs of recovering animals other than dogs or cats.
