ABSTRACT
The global textile and clothing industry continues to provide work to large numbers of workers, although the markets for these textile products are constantly changing. Shifts in textile production worldwide have occurred; China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, the United States and Brazil now lead the world in both the production and consumption of cotton.
