Reconstruction in Hilbert Space

In many of the examples we have considered in this book, the data has been finitely many linear-functional values of the function of interest. In this chapter we consider this problem from a purely mathematical perspective. We take the function of interest to be a member of a Hilbert space, and use best approximation to solve the problem.
